Sliders: Goal Pickers, Intensity Dials, and Pick-Your-Price Paywalls
Add a draggable slider to any paywall or onboarding flow — let users set a goal, choose an intensity, or drag between price points — and bind the value to copy, branching, and products.
What you can do
-
Drop a slider into any paywall or flow. Add the Slider element from the editor's Flows section, set the range, step size, and horizontal or vertical orientation — no code, no release.
-
Echo the value in your copy. Every slider exposes a value variable you can drop into text — "Reach your 5-workout week" hits harder when the 5 came from the user.
-
Branch the flow on the answer. Send ambitious users down one path and casual users down another, or show, hide, and restyle elements when the value crosses a threshold.
-
Build a pick-your-price paywall. Map slider steps to products so the offer copy, displayed amount, and purchase button track the handle as the user drags between price points.
-
Style every part to match your brand. Track, fill, and knob are separate elements — size, color, radius, and borders are all yours.
How it works
Add the element. In the paywall editor, click + and choose Slider from the Flows section. You get a small group — track, fill, and knob — that you style independently like any other stack.
Configure the range. Set minimum, maximum, and step size: whole numbers for goals, decimals for finer scales. The slider starts at its minimum unless you give its variable an initial value.
Wire up the value. Insert the slider's value variable into text, bind dynamic values to it to show or hide elements past a threshold, or use it to switch the selected product for a pick-your-price layout.
Test it like everything else. Run the slider variant against your control in an experiment and judge it on conversion and proceeds per user — a slider is a hypothesis about engagement, and the campaign results will tell you if it holds.
Use cases
-
Goal selector: workouts per week, minutes per day, a savings amount — captured in onboarding, echoed on the paywall.
-
Intensity dial: difficulty, depth, or personalization level that tunes which plan or path the flow recommends.
-
Pick-your-price: a fairness slider across price points, each mapped to a real product with the same trial.
-
Progress scrubber: let users drag through a before/after or step-based story instead of tapping through it.
Get started
- Open the paywall editor, add a Slider from the Flows section, and set its range and step size.
